Wander // Identity system, collateral, signage, and hand-printing for Wander, a pop-up dining event hosted by Chef Dante Cecchini, 2014 SF Chronicle Rising Star Chef.

As a San Francisco native, Dante’s cuisine is inspired by locally sourced ingredients and themes of the region. His '71 Volkswagen Beetle inspired the name "Wander" harkening to memories of joyriding Highway 1 and exploring Northern California roads from the driver's seat. Bay Area road map imagery became a visual theme for the event in promotional material and signage. He strives to evoke a similar feeling with his pop-up dining experience, sending the eater on a journey through a four course meal of locally sourced ingredients and classically executed cuisine. In keeping with a theme of careful craft, our collateral and signage were hand printed using traditional and artistic printing methods like silkscreen, stamping, and monoprinting.
